Coating of Below Ground Steel Pipe work and fittings in a busy W.T.W Main Complex. A Two component Solvent Free Surface Tolerant Epoxy system was applied to the Steel items due to the Level of preparation, the restricted environment and the nature and composition of the substrate.
2003
A Large Department Store internal Roof structure was protected using a Water Borne single pack Intumescent coating system. The bare Steelwork was abrasive blasted then primed with an Epoxy Primer, followed by 800 microns (dft ) of an Intumescent coat to give up to 2 hours fire protection.
2002
External painting to over 4, 500m2 of Plastisol Cladding. This successfully Completed project upgraded the old existing dark brown vertical cladding by applying two coats of a single pack Elastomeric Polyurethane UV colour stable finish. The system enhanced the fabric of the complex with a 10 year maintenance free coating.
1997
Two component Solvent Free Epoxy Resin system was applied to this old corroded Pipe Bridge Structure. The Surface Tolerant properties were a key feature of the system. The Steel Bridge and pipeline now have an extended life of 25 years to first maintenance.
2004
Refurbishment of degraded Steel Staircases and Balcony Railings. The heavily corroded structures were treated with an advanced High Solids Epoxy Primer and a UV colour stable two component finish giving a maintenance free long term system.
1997
The Steelwork of an old 30m span River Bridge was abrasive blasted and coated with a Solvent Free Rail track RT 98 endorsed material This High Build Epoxy system was applied in a single coat application at 500 microns ( dft ) ensuring a service life in excess of 25 years.
2002
The severely corroded exterior of the five Steel Storage tanks were abrasive blast cleaned, to remove all the existing degraded paint. A two pack solvent based Epoxy Primer was applied to the Steel, followed by a UV colour stable chemical resistant two pack Polyurethane finish.
1997
Flaking, Peeling and degraded Plastisol Vertical Cladding was fully chemically stripped back to a Bare Galvanized substrate. Two pack Epoxy Primer & high build single pack Elastomeric Polyurethane finish was then applied, giving a 10 year colour stable finish.
2002
Potable Water approved coating system applied to the internal of Two 2.5m x 25m long Thames Water Contact Vessels. These new Steel vessels were abrasive blasted then 500 microns of a Solvent Free Epoxy endorsed coating applied prior to delivery to site.
2002
Water - Borne Technology at its best. This successfully completed project for Skoda allowed for all the external and internal window frames and fittings to be changed to the new Corporate colours. The new Silver Metallic system completely transformed the overall appearance of the building.
2002
Sub - Sea Habitat Structural Steelwork exposed to harsh environmental immersed conditions. Was fully coated with a Two Pack High Build Epoxy resin system to 400 microns (dft ). This high performance system allowed for the full encapsulation of the Steelwork after abrasive blasting.
1996
Major building refurbishment of a large Brewery complex.. This critical extensive upgrade of the buildings Steelwork structure was undertaken using a two component High Build Solvent Free Surface Tolerant Epoxy system at 500 microns. This was over coated with a Polyurethane UV colour stable durable gloss finish.
